The official annual meeting between Euromed Youth Units for the Euromed Youth III Programme and the National Agencies of the Youth in Action Programme was organized by the RCBS in co-operation with the Salto Euromed RC and the EMYU at the Ministry of Political Development- Jordan, in Amman on 10 & 11 October 2008. The meeting was attended by representatives of the European Commission (DG EuropeAid/AIDCO and DG EAC) and the Euro-Mediterranean Youth Platform.

The main objectives of the meeting were to provide an update on the external evaluation of the EuroMed Youth III Programme, to present the outcomes of supported projects and examples of good practices (EMYUs, NAs, project organisers and partner institutions) and to share perspectives for future co-operation.

The Meeting received high visibility being held under the auspices of Jordan’s Prime Minister and the Delegation of the European Commission to Jordan. The official closing ceremony hosted concerned Jordan’s ministers, diplomatic delegates of Euromed countries and members of national institutions.

Participants of the Meeting were invited to attend the extraordinary plenary session of the Euro Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly taking place on 12 October 2008.
